The Autel PSA 2-pin to 16-pin OBD2 adapter is specifically developed to connect older vehicles from the PSA group with modern diagnostic equipment. This adapter forms the physical bridge between the vehicle-specific 2-pin diagnostic port, commonly found on older Peugeot and Citroën models, and the standard 16-pin OBD2 connector of an Autel diagnostic system.
The adapter ensures correct signal transmission from the older, brand-specific communication protocols to the universal interface of the diagnostic tester. Through the internal pin layout, the data lines of the OBD1 connector are accurately converted to the corresponding pins of the female OBD2 connector. The housing is made of durable, molded plastic, providing durability and protection of the internal contact points in a workshop environment.
