The BMW 10-pin OBD – 16-pin OBD2 adapter cable is developed to connect BMW Motorcycles equipped with the round, vehicle-specific diagnostic port to universal diagnostic equipment. This adapter cable acts as a physical interface between the 10-pin round connector on the Motorcycle and the standard 16-pin OBD2 connector of external reading devices.
The cable ensures correct pin-out conversion, allowing communication protocols such as K-Line and CAN-bus, depending on the year and model, to be reliably transmitted from the ECU to the diagnostic tool. The design allows connection of both brand-specific tools and universal OBD2 scanners for in-depth system analysis and maintenance tasks.

Good to know: From 2017 (Euro 4) BMW motorcycles use a direct rectangular OBD2 port. Check in advance if your motorcycle has the round 10-pin connector, often found under the seat.
