The Immo Bypass licence key provides access to the CarLabImmo platform, a file database for working on engine control units and immobiliser systems. You locate the control unit you're working on and retrieve the original reading, the corresponding solution and the pinout details. Writing is then performed using your own programming equipment.
Every workshop that replaces control units knows the problem this solves. A second-hand or new unit is not recognised by the vehicle, and without the correct content, the car will not accept it. Rather than working out yourself what should be stored in memory, you retrieve the verified file and compare it with the original.

The database is organised into six types of solutions. The table below shows what each type is and what you use it for.

Immo Bypass is a standalone software and does not control your programming device. You retrieve the file and write it using the equipment you already have in your workshop .

What you will need
The licence provides access to the database. Without the components listed below, you cannot use it.
- A computer running Windows: The software runs on Windows 7 through 11; there are also apps for Android and iOS.
- An internet connection: The database is cloud-based; without connectivity you cannot access it.
- Your own programming equipment: For reading and writing the control unit itself.
- An Immo Bypass account: The licence is linked to it, and it is personal and non-transferable.

💡
Good to know: The licence is valid for one computer and one mobile device, and the two cannot be used simultaneously. You can switch to another device, but there is a release period of one day between switches.
How does it work in practice?
From order to active access there are four steps. You do not provide a serial number when ordering; you activate the key on your account yourself.
- Choose licence duration: Select the licence term you require when placing your order.
- Receive your key: You will receive the licence key by email.
- Link to your account: Log in to the Immo Bypass panel of CarLabImmo and activate the key on your account.
- Get to work: Find your control unit, download the file and write it using your own equipment.
