Deze verloopkabel verbindt de 6-pins diagnoseaansluiting van oudere Chrysler-, Dodge- en Jeep-personenauto's met een uitleesapparaat met 16-pins OBD2-stekker. Bij de meeste modellen zit de aansluiting links in de motorruimte, bij de zekerings- en relaiskast (PDC).
Deze oudere modellen hebben nog geen OBD2-aansluiting. Met de kabel leest u de motorregeling uit met uw bestaande apparaat. U leest de foutcodes achter het motorlampje en wist ze na de reparatie. De kabel zet de aansluiting alleen fysiek om. Het uitleesapparaat moet zelf de OBD1-diagnose van Chrysler ondersteunen.
