The Jaltest JT3013 Charger is the transformer charger that goes with the JT3013 Jump Starter the battery booster which helps you get a flat vehicle battery going again. It's a black plastic block with ventilation slotsa fixed mains cable with a European two-pin plug and a second lead ending in a straight DC plug.
The booster has a sealed lead-acid battery on board; on the rear it states Contains Sealed Lead-Acid Battery. That battery needs to be recharged after use, and that's what this charger is for: The DC plug goes into the charging socket on the rear of the booster. It is not intended for the Jaltest Link or for other diagnostic equipment, as that receives power via its own power cables.

A battery booster stores charge itself and releases it all at once to the starter motor. After each starting attempt its own battery runs down, and without top up the charge it drops away until it delivers nothing.
